Aggie's Cottage

Upon entering Aggie's Cottage through the charming courtyard door, you'll find a bright and inviting space. The spacious open-plan living area features original Marland brick flooring, blending modernity with the cottage's historical charm. The fully equipped kitchen is up-to-date and has everything you need for preparing meals, including an electric oven with grill, a ceramic hob, a microwave, a fridge, and a freezer. The washing machine is conveniently located next to the downstairs bathroom.

A substantial stripped pine farmhouse table comfortably seats six and is thoughtfully placed to one side of the spacious living area, providing a cosy spot for family dining. The living area features a soft rug-covered floor, a large corner sofa adorned with vibrant, stylish cushions, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with a separate DVD/CD player, perfect for movie nights.

Open-tread wooden stairs lead from the living area to Aggie's first double bedroom. This charming room boasts sloping ceilings, exposed beams, and delightful dormer windows offering lovely views.

A Victorian-style bathroom with an original roll-top cast iron bath and a toilet with a pull-chain cistern is located at the base of the stairs off the living area.

Off the hallway, the first door leads to Aggie's delightful twin bedroom, featuring painted antique pine bedside cabinets and a matching double wardrobe. Please note that one bed in this twin room is full-size, while the other is 2' 6" wide.

At the end of the hallway, you'll find the Master Bedroom, which houses a substantial painted pine king-sized sleigh bed. This elegant room boasts a high ceiling, wood beams, a large glass chandelier, matching bedside cabinets, a double wardrobe, and a chest of drawers.

Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the second family bathroom, which offers Jack and Jill entrances. The bathroom features travertine tiles and is equipped with a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin.
