Winder Cottage, Bratton

The kitchen has recently been installed from scratch, with a butler sink and wooden worktops. All new appliances include electric range cooker with 3 ovens, large fridge freezer, microwave and wine fridge. The kitchen has under floor heating.

In the utility/hall area to the rear of the kitchen, there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. Two armchairs to the far end allow for a wonderful view of the garden and the bird feeders.

The sitting room has a large inglenook fireplace with wood-burner. A basket of logs and kindling will be provided in the cooler months. Further logs can be purchased in the town.

The cottage has new heating fitted throughout, which can be adjusted within each room to suit your preferences. Heating and electricity are included in the price of the accommodation.

There is a TV and DVD player with a small collection of recent DVDs. Wifi and sky television is available at no extra cost. 

The bathroom has a large walk-in shower plus a heated towel rail and underfloor heating.

Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. A travel cot and high chair can be provided if requested in advance.

The cottage was built in the 16th century and there are many exposed original features. As a result of its age the property does have uneven floors upstairs and some low beams, all of which add to it's character. Because of the steep winder stairs, this property would not be suitable for someone with restricted mobility.
