Situated just a short stroll from the charming harbor village of Porlock Weir and its amenities, Owlscombe is a truly exceptional holiday home, ideal for large family gatherings or friends seeking relaxation or celebrating a special occasion. This magnificent modern property features six bedrooms, six bathrooms, accommodating up to 12 people, and is both family and pet-friendly. Its prime coastal location is enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows in the main "super room," which encompasses a modern kitchen, spacious dining area, and seating where guests can bask in the views. Recently renovated, the house incorporates numerous eco-friendly features, including underfloor heating and hot water powered by a Ground Source Heat Pump and filtered well water sourced from Exmoor's depths. Guests are welcomed into the house via a private gated parking area leading to a reception hallway with ample hanging space and a large oak bench. Adjacent is a spacious utility room equipped with a sink, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The main open-plan living area boasts magnificent double aspect views, with a well-appointed kitchen featuring a large Range cooker, American-style fridge freezer, walk-in larder, wine fridge, and two dishwashers. A sociable kitchen island with bar stool seating complements the contemporary dining area seating 12, adjacent to a double-sided wood burner. The TV room offers relaxation with Sky TV, a DVD library, and a fireplace, while a spotting scope invites birdwatching or stargazing in Europe's first Dark Sky reserve. The ground floor hosts one double bedroom, conveniently located near a separate WC and shower room. Upstairs, four additional bedrooms each feature en-suite facilities.
