Greenways is a lovely 3 bedroomed property in Porlock, ideal for families or groups looking for a base in this village. Situated just a short walk from the High Street, you have a great selection of restaurants, pubs, cafes and tea rooms all within about 5 minutes on foot.
The property consists of two double bedrooms (one with king-sized bed and one with small double 4ft), a twin bedroom and family bathroom (shower over bath) upstairs. Downstairs is the sitting room, separate dining room, kitchen and another toilet. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cookware, cutlery, crockery and glasses. A television with Freeview is provided in the living room with a DVD player and a CD player. There is wireless broadband in the property available at no extra cost. A cot is available on request, please request it when booking so we can make sure it is available for your stay. There is a stair gate fitted at the top of the stairs and another one can be places at the bottom of the stairs if needed. An iron with ironing board is available for your use and a hair dryer is provided for your convenience. Electricity and heating Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Greenways is fitted with storage heaters. Greeways has electric storage heaters. Linen and towels Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips. Please note that bed linen is not provided for the cot. Other provisions A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive. There may also be other non-perishable items like a salt, pepper and a few herbs or spices available. Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid and surface cleaner will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided. Outside the property The driveway is fitted with gates so once these are closed the property is enclosed. There is a small flower garden to the front and a larger lawned area to the rear of the property with table and chairs. Parking Off-road parking for two cars is available directly outside the property on the drive. Dogs Up to two dogs (strictly 2 maximum) are welcome by prior arrangement. A supplementary fee of £15 will be added to your invoice per dog to cover additional cleaning costs. Please do not allow your dogs on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time. Smoking Greenways is strictly non-smoking. Arrival and departure The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival. Please depart by 9 am on the last day of your stay. Please note the earlier check-out time due to additional cleaning requirements between bookings. Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests. Changeover days Greenways is available for week-long bookings and short-breaks. The region
+ MorePorlock is a wonderful working Exmoor village and boasts three pubs, two grocery shops, a traditional local butcher, chemist, cash machine, petrol station, hardware shop, visitor centre, several art galleries and a range of independent restaurants, shops and tea rooms. Porloc...k Weir is approximately 1.5 miles from Porlock and is well worth a visit. There are two restaurants (The Cafe and Miller's at the Anchor), a pub (all three are dog-friendly) and a range of individual shops such as tea rooms, Exmoor Glass and Studio 7 (imported beautiful textiles). Many of the shops in Porlock and Porlock Weir are open during traditional hours of 9 am to 5 pm, although hours are often extended during the summer season. Conversely, some shops also reduce their opening hours out of season. Minehead is the nearest town, approximately 6 miles from Porlock. Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations (Tesco and Morrison's are both situated on the outskirts of the town and have longer opening hours), most major high street banks with cash machines, plus a range of other shops throughout the town.
