Close to the wonderful Lion Inn pub and with views of Dunkery Beacon, Yew Tree Cottage is well located for exploring everything Exmoor has to offer with its breathtaking scenery, outdoor pursuits and wildlife. At the end of a busy day, enjoy local hospitality at the many pubs and restaurants that Dunster has to offer, before relaxing in front of the inglenook fireplace. The cottage is also just three miles from the medieval village of Dunster, famous for the Castle (National Trust), Yarn Market, and variety of interesting shops, plus a selection of restaurants. 5 miles away is the seaside resort of Minehead, with its wide sandy beach and the West Somerset Steam Railway. Dogs are welcome for supplement of £20 per dog per booking. Please do not allow your dogs upstairs or on the furniture.

Entrance to the property is up a few steps and directly into the beamed kitchen which includes a large electric range cooker, microwave, dishwasher and belfast sink. The slate tiled floor has under-floor heating. A couple more steps lead up into the large sitting and dining room complete with window seats and a wood-burner at the far end, for cosy evenings in. The stairs lead from the sitting room upstairs where there are two character bedrooms, with exposed beams and the main bedroom has two built-in wardrobes. Both bedrooms have views across the village towards Dunkery Hill and the moor. The family bathroom is also upstairs, comprising bath, separate shower, toilet and hand basin. Heating and electricity is included in the price of your accommodation. In addition to the wood-burner, the property is fitted with storage heaters throughout. Up to 2 dogs are welcome for supplement of £20. Please do not allow your dogs on the furniture or upstairs.

There is no garden with the property but you are literally just a few yards away from the start of some beautiful walks and outdoor spaces such as the River Avill valley, the pretty church yard to St Petrock's and the village playing fields. The Lion Inn, with its outdoor seating is also just a very short distance away in the centre of the village.
